In this position you will be responsible for the development, supervision and operation of the Sleep Center and EEG. You will provide and ensure delivery of quality care, assessment and patient management in the Sleep Center and EEG. You will assist the Clinical staff with acquisition, scoring and reporting as needed and coordinate accreditation process and assist with the growth, development and marketing of the Sleep Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or management required.

• Two years management experience required and five years experience in Sleep.

• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

• Ability to manipulate various types of electronic and clinical equipment, adjust and troubleshoot monitoring equipment and

• computer equipment.

• Ability to operate specialty equipment related to area of expertise and to perform computer tasks at a user's level.

• Must possess the ability to comprehend and to interpret complex clinical subject matter related to the specialty.

• Possesses the knowledge and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.

• Possesses leadership ability, team building, project management, scheduling and staffing.

• Requires flexibility to be present in sleep lab in the evening occasionally.

PRN Polysomnographic Scoring Technologist Position at Fusion Sleep

• Scores sleep/wake stages per AASM staging criteria

• Scores clinical events (such as arousals, respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movements, etc.) according to center specific protocols

• Has 2 years minimum experience with detailed scoring

• BRPT Registered & CPR certified

• Experience with Somnologica/REMLogic software a plus

• Experience scoring arousal events on a 30-second epoch a must

• Extremely flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented

Polysomnography Techs (FT & PRN)

In this position you will be independently performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring of data to ensure a high degree of quality services. You will also be responsible for helping less experienced technologists with tasks as needed or as requested by the Polysomnography Coordinator, Director of Neurology Services, or Medical Director.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate; some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine preferred.

• Two years of experience in a sleep center servicing adults.

• Good customer relations and communications skills.

• Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.

Sleep Disorders Center of Georgia, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Polysomnography Technician at our Gainesville, GA location.  At least one year of sleep experience is required.
