Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking to employ a Part Time/Night sleep lab tech.  Registered Polysomnographic Tech is preferred.  Seeking someone with 1 to 3 year of sleep experience.  Main job duties would include: Measuring electrical activity of patient’s brain waves and other physiological variables, using polysomnograph, to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment of sleep orders.

Piedmont Newnan Hospital - Clinical Coordinator - Sleep Center – FT – Monday – Friday  (posted 1-5-10).  This position reports to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services.  It is responsible for development, supervision and operation of the Sleep Center and EEG.   Assists the Clinical staff with acquisition, scoring and reporting as needed.  Coordinate accreditation process and assist with the growth, development and marketing of the Sleep Center.  Manage Sleep Center and EEG operations to include staffing, scheduling, reporting, homecare referrals and CPAP clinic.  Develop and maintain department policies, procedures and protocols.  Ability to operate specialty equipment related to area of expertise and to perform computer tasks at a user's level.  Possesses leadership ability, team building, project management, scheduling and staffing.  Registered Polysomnographic Technologist required.  Associates degree in Health Sciences or management preferred.  Minimum two (2) years management experience and five (5) years experience in the Sleep Center.  Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.
